We believe that all students should have access to high-quality educational experiences, no matter their situation. The young women at the Office of Juvenile Affairs are no different. These women are showing us every week that they are willing, capable, and excited to take ownership of a project and work together as a team to design it. These young ladies came up with their own project: to design a solar-powered greenhouse for OJA that allows residents to grow their own food year-round. They show an incredible aptitude for learning about STEM, and the initiative they take every week on this project is a testament to their true characters. Stay tuned to see what these amazing young women accomplish this semester!
